Hugs Ceramics Studio Policies

 

Try it Out Class/Couple's Night

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy:  Any cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the session's date. Cancellations with less than 24 hour notice will receive a 50% refund. Reschedule requests with less than 24 hour notice will be subject to a rescheduling fee of $45 per person.

Late Policy: Due to scheduling and time constraints, if you are more than 30 minutes late for your session, it is considered a no show & the amount will not be refunded.

6 Week Classes

Cancellation Policy:  Cancellations must be requested at least 1 week before the session. Cancellations made less than 1 week prior to the session starting date will be refunded 50% of the class cost. Any Cancellations made day of or after a session has started will not be issued a refund & cannot be put toward a future session.


Make-Up Policy for 6 Week Classes: Students will be allowed 1 make up class per 6 week session. This class will be added on at the end of the 6 week session. The date/time of the makeup class will be depend on when the student's pieces are able to be safely bisque fired & ready to glaze. Due to kiln firing schedules & kiln space, this makeup class may be up to 2-4 weeks after the end of the 6 week session. 


Private Parties
  • The party host's purchased spot serves as the non-refundable deposit to secure the date for the private party.
  • We require notification at least 48 hours prior to the time of the party to reschedule or request a refund - excluding the non-refundable deposit.
  • Parties cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the time of the party will not receive refunds and/or be subject to a re-scheduling fee.

Workshops/Special Events

  • Due to the nature of Special Events & Workshops, all sales are final.

Health & Safety

  • Please do not come to Hugs Ceramics Studio if you or someone you live with are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.
  • Hand towels and aprons will not be provided at Hugs Ceramics Studio. Students and members must bring their own & take them home to be washed at the end of class. Hugs Ceramics Studio cannot store used towels and aprons at the studio. 
  • Students & Members will clean their wheels, equipment, and workstations before leaving the studio.
  • Wash your hands!
